Harvey Hohenberger
for his legacy of commitment
to public education in Texas.

Harvey began his career in education in 1974 as a teacher/coach in Cooper, Texas. His first principal job was in 1978 at West Lamar ISD in Lamar County. He returned to Cooper ISD in 1979 as high school principal and served the distrcit as assistant superintendent from 1986- May 1993. From May 1993 until February 2003, he was the superintendent of Chisum ISD in paris, Texas. He now serves as Executive Director, Region 8 Education Service Center in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.
