01 · What Business Partners Fund

Four functions, one mission

Friends operates through four functions. Every business partner funds all four. Tier determines how deeply you participate in each.

Convene

Friends brings superintendents, school board members, and education leaders into the same rooms — the Friends Leadership Summit, regional summits, the Friends Leadership Advisory Council, and the Texas Trust in Public Education Collaborative. Your partnership funds the rooms where Texas school leaders work together.

Translate

Friends turns policy, research, and complex education questions into language educators, families, and communities can use. The Friends Trust Framework, the 8 Ways to Trust, and the Texas Benefits List (publishing 26/27) live here. Your partnership funds the work that turns complexity into clarity.

Activate

Friends backs the educators doing the work — through teacher appreciation campaigns, classroom wishlist fulfillment, educator recognition, and direct sponsorship of network member districts. Your partnership funds direct support to Texas teachers, classrooms, and ISDs, distributed in your company's name.

Amplify

Friends elevates the stories of Texas educators and students across a network reaching 50K+ newsletter subscribers, 31K+ social followers, 8,700+ campuses, and 1,000+ ISD offices. Your partnership funds the storytelling that reframes the conversation about Texas public schools.

02 · Beyond Your Tier

The Friends Sponsor Menu

Throughout the year, Friends releases a quarterly Sponsor Menu of specific opportunities partners can fund directly, in addition to their tier commitment. Partners choose what they care most about. We surface the opportunity, facilitate the relationship, and recognize the partner. Menu items include:

Teacher classroom wishlist drops
Celebrate Texas Public Schools (CTPS) CTE student contest sponsorships
Friend of the Year Dinner add-on sponsorships
ISD network membership sponsorships, where partners fund a Texas district's Friends membership and we facilitate the introduction between the partner and the district's leadership

Tier determines access order. Strategic Partners see the menu first and reserve their selections before it opens to Diamond. Diamond before Platinum. And so on.
